Jesus, could have been one of four persons: 1) the Christian Messiah, 2) a Jewish prophet, 3) a mere man with a special relationship with God or 4) an invented myth who never really existed. Leave a comment telling me who Jesus was and what proof you have.
Christian Messiah
IF Jesus was the Christian messiah, then the prophecies about the Jewish messiah never existed and they were an invention of the Jews to prove Jesus was not the true messiah. The Jewish Messiah would never come since the prophecies about the Messiah were fulfilled in Jesus.
All the prophecies about Jesus in the Christian Old Testament would be true and in this case the Jews removed them or changed the verses from their Old Testament so that it would appear that the Christian bible was corrupted to make it look like there weren’t any real prophecies that could be fulfilled in Jesus.
Jewish Prophet
IF the doctrines of Jewish Messiah are true, in this case, in the Christian bible, all prophecies about Jesus are misinterpretations, mistranslations and forgeries to make the Chriistian Bible conform to the beliefs of orthodox Christianity.
The prophecies about the Messiah that Jesus never fulfilled would have been removed from the Christian Old Testament since it would make Jesus not be qualified to be the Messiah according to Jewish beliefs.
A mere man with a special relationship with God
IF Jesus were merely a man sent from God with a special mission and a special relationship with God, then surely some of the prophecies could be fulfilled in Jesus but not necessarily all of them.
Jesus would be “A” messiah, according to the definition of a messiah in any Old Testament, Jewish or Christian, but not “THE” Messiah that was prophesied to come according to the Jewish bible. That is, assuming the prophecies in the Jewish bible about the coming of the Jewish messiah that Jesus failed to fulfill.
In this case, Jesus, or rather Yeshua, would be a prophet / king / priest, not God, but nevertheless the most important of all prophets who were ever sent by God.
Never existed — pure invention

Who was this?
IF Jesus never existed, he was a pure invention of the orthodox church, a carbon copy of all the pagan godmen that came before his time. He would be a man that may or may not have existed who was made into a god by the Greeks and Romans who were familiar with the pagan beliefs.
He would be a god who came to earth, born of a virgin, did miracles, had 12 disiples, raised the dead, died a martyr’s death, came back to life, etc, like many other godmen who came before Jesus.
Christianity would be a new religion created out of the beliefs and writings of the Jews who believed in Jesus and the writings of Paul whose writing may or may not have been altered by the roman church and the Greek philosophers of the day.
Who was Jesus, really?

You made some decent points there. I did a search on the topic and found most persons will approve with your site.
I don’t know if most people would agree with my site, but it is catching on popularity. The truth is coming out and people are beginning to see just how the church fathers have corrupted the truth that Jesus brought and they have turned it into something that Jesus never meant it to be. You suck dude, I thought you were gonna tell me! lol
There is one thing I’d like to see on this site that i can think of right now. The Origin of Satan
Keep coming around. I’ll soon find out the origin of Satan too. You probably won’t believe this, but I’ve met him personally.
I don’t have any doubt whatsoever that Yeshua was the Jewish Messiah. The problem I have is with those who say he is God Almighty. If Mary was impregnated by the holy ghost then there would be no way that he could be the Messiah. He couldn’t be both — either one or the other. And since he was the Messiah, he was not God Almighty.
But like I said before, people can make the bible mean anything that they want it to.
You mean the adversary or accuser? Or do you believe in Satan and have met him? I know a few peope who have seen/think they have seen demons and stuff. I’m more inclined to belive in Satan than ghosts.
Anyway, a friend has refered me to Elaine H. Pagels’, the Origin of Satan. I’m actually going to pick it up from the library tomorrow.
Something else that I’d like to see written about is persecution. Christians seem to place themselves above everyone else when it comes to being persecuted. But that can’t be true that they are the only ones.
It’s funny. Just rearrange the letters a bit and you have Santa — same letters. And what does he have to do with Jesus’ birthday anyway? As far as that goes, what does Jesus have to do with Dec 25, a pagan holiday?
Satan is just another creation of God, who God uses to accomplish his purposes. Now where God originated… is only anyone’s guess. And since that’s impossible, why worry about it?
