"for this end have I come into the world, that I may put away all blood offerings and the eating of flesh of the beasts and the birds that are slain by men"
Christianity’s whole basis for what they call “salvation” is that Jesus was sinless and perfect — after all, he was God Almighty in the flesh. But if Jesus was not perfect and sinless, then he couldn’t be God, could he? And if he weren’t God, then he couldn’t save anybody. At least that’s what they say, right?
Well, what if Jesus wasn’t perfect and sinless? What if he wasn’t God? What if he was just a normal man, with a flesh and blood father, just like you and me? What if Jesus didn’t really say that he came to save all of humanity of all time, but that he came to put an end to animal sacrifice?
You’d say that the church has been handing us a load of untruths. You’d say that Christianity is a false religion. You’d say that the bible is not perfect and is full of fabrications. You’d say that the majority of Christianity’s fathers, leaders, scholars, evangelists preachers, priests, cardinals, popes, etc., of today and throughout the ages since the first century have been deceived and are deceiving all of the Christian world.
You’d probably say: “Prove it if you can!”
Jesus had a flesh and blood father
2:12 Joseph, now awake, did as the angel directed him, and went in to Mary his espoused bride. In her womb she conceived the Holy One.
8:8 And Yeshua was beginning his thirtieth year, being by physical body indeed the Son of Joseph and Mary
10:8 “We have found Him, of whom Moses in the Law and the Prophets did write. He is Yeshua of Nazareth the son of Joseph and Mary.
Joh 1:45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
Jesus was not God Almighty in the flesh
If Jesus had a flesh and blood father, then the “holy ghost” wasn’t his father, nor could he have been born God Almighty. Jesus never claimed to be God nor even ever inferred it. Though he was accused of calling himself God, he was found innocent of the accusation. According to the Jews, claiming to be God was blasphemy. Being a Jew himself, committing blasphemy is something Jesus would never do, and never did do.
Jesus was married and may even have had children
6.13 When He was eighteen years old, Yeshua was married to Miriam, a virgin of the tribe of Judah with whom He lived seven years. (Gospel of the Nazirenes)
Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed…
65:10 Again I say to you, I and My Bride are one, even as Mary Magdalene, whom I have chosen and sanctified as a type, is one with Me… (Gospel of the Nazirenes)
There were three who always walked with the Lord: Mary, his mother, and her sister, and Magdalene, the one who was called his companion. His sister and his mother and his companion were each a Mary. (Gospel of Philip)
And the companion of the [Savior] Mary Magdalene. [He] loved her more than all the disciples, and used to kiss her often on her mouth. (Gospel of Philip)
Was Jesus capable of sin?
2Sa 7:14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men (a prophecy about the Messiah)
Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
“Behold the mother of the Lord and his brothers said to him, ‘John the Baptist baptizes for the forgiveness of sins. Let us go and be baptized by him.’ But Jesus said to them, ‘in what way have I sinned that I should go and be baptized by him? Unless perhaps, what I have just said is a sin of ignorance.’” (Gospel of Matthew)
Of course, the church fathers only made Jesus into a god-man much later, so Mary couldn’t possibly have had an idea about him being God.
The Son of a man
Over 90 times in the gospels Jesus refers to himself as the “son of man”. This literally means son of a “human being”. What would the motive be for Jesus doing such a thing if it were not for emphasizing that he was actually the son of a man — namely Joseph?
Could it be that he knew that in short time men would publish that he was born of a virgin in order to make a god-man out of him? He surely knew by the prophecies that he had to descend from Solomon who Joseph was a descendant of in order to qualify to be the Messiah.
If he were merely the son of Mary, the Levite, he wouldn’t qualify to be the king of the Jews. But from his birth to his death he was known not only as the king of the Jews, but also as the Messiah. If he had not had a father he would have been of an illegitimate birth and barred from entering the assembly.
Deu 23:2 “A bastard shall not enter into the assembly of Yahweh; even to the tenth generation shall none of his enter into the assembly of Yahweh”
Jesus fulfilled the prophecy that the messiah would be a priest upon his throne. That means that he would have to be of the tribe of Levi, to be a priest, his mother’s tribe, and also the tribe of Judah, his father’s tribe to be the king of the Jews.
Zec 6:13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne
Jesus came to put an end to animal cruelty, that’s what his death did.
75:9 I say to you, for this end have I come into the world, that I may put away all blood offerings and the eating of flesh of the beasts and the birds that are slain by men. (Gospel of the Nazirenes)
21:8 He also said, “I have come to end the sacrifices and feasts of blood, and if you don’t cease offering and eating of flesh and blood, the wrath of God will not cease from you. (Gospel of the Nazirenes)
I have come to destroy sacrifices; and if you do not stop making sacrifices, the wrath of God will not leave you. (Gospel of the Hebrews)
It can be proven that the bible has been altered, parts taken away from it and even forgeries have been added to it. Much that has been said and done by Jesus is contained in other writings that are not accepted by the majority of Christianity.
It is commonly understood that as a natural-born human being, man is subject to imperfections. Sons of men marry, have children and make mistakes.
But what becomes evident through all the writings about Jesus is that he was a natural-born son of man, as he himself frequently affirmed, he was the biological son of Joseph, he was married and could possibly even have had children, he was subject to imperfection as any other human being. Moreover, he came to put an end to inhumane treatment and the brutal sacrifice of animals the which he caused to cease with his death.
Being a normal human being, there is no way he could possibly have been God Almighty in the flesh. As most Christians will readily affirm: “if Jesus were not God, then he could not save us from our sins.” So the great question in this case would be:
“If Jesus is not God, then how are we saved?”
25:8 “Don’t think that I have come to destroy the law, or the prophets; I have not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no way pass from the law or the prophets until all be fulfilled. But behold one greater than Moses is here, and He will give you the higher law, even the perfect Law, and this Law will you obey.“
25:10 “They who believe and obey will save their souls, and they who don’t obey will lose them. For I say to you, That except your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.”
33:3 “The priests indeed receive such offerings as a reconciliation of the worshipers for the trespasses against that which they believe to be the Law of Moses; but for sins against the Law of God there can be no remission, save by repentance and amendment”
75.11 “Not by shedding innocent blood (of Jesus), therefore, but by living a righteous life, shall you find the peace of God. You call me the Messiah of God and you say well, for I am the way, the truth and the life.”
Pro 12:28 In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
Hey, which of the gospels/books are you using for your first three quotes? I can’t seem to find them anywhere.
How about these:
A Prophecy about Jesus:
2Sa 7:14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men (a prophecy about the Messiah)
Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
