What is the True Law of God?

“I am the Lord, I change not” (Mal 3:6)

The law of God is eternal and does not change with time or peoples or places. The law of God is eternal in the heavens and never changes. His word is something that He honors above is own name. His word is what created the world and has forever been a standard by which he meant for all men to follow thought out all of the history of mankind.

The only thing that has changed is the the law of God in men’s minds because of the changes that evil men have dared to make to written His Word in that these evil and ignorant men have added to God’s Words, taken away from God’s words and even had the audacity to change the words that God actually spoke!

His commandments were given in the very beginning, they were valid thoughout all of the history of the bible and they are still valid until this very day. God does not change and neither does his words. The law of God and his commandments are as valid and binding today as they were in Moses’s day.

The Old Testament

law-of-god-corruptedAccording to the first book of the bible Moses was given the law by God in the beginning for the people of God. But something happened to the law of God. It was added to by false priests and prophets who infiltrated God’s people and it became corrupted. You don’t believe that? Well, can you believe that God would order the blood sacrifice of innocent humans, or murder, or the rape of young virgins. It’s there — just read it!

The New Testament

Then Jesus said that he came to fulfill the law and that by keeping the law wasLaw-of-god3 the way to inherit everlasting life — that’s what he actually said. And then he turns around and says that men have made the law of God of no effect by their traditions. Even Jesus recognizes that though the law is good men have corrupted it.

St. Paul

Even Paul rejects the law of Moses and all of the Jewish customs. He says that Jesus was made a curse by the law and that everyone who keeps it is cursed. Paul taught that the law of God was a curse — which couldn’t be further from the truth!

Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Though he was wrong in rejecting the Law of God and keeping the commandments and doing good works, he must have recognized that there was something definitely wrong with what was written.

peter and Paul The Disciples of Jesus

The original 12 apostles and the Jewish Christians all believed in keeping the law, obviously this is because of the teachings of Jesus. But exactly what law were they keeping? Jesus spoke out so often against the old testament teachings and traditions that were against what God really wanted. They were keeping some law, but there is very little about whole unmodified law of God that that Jesus taught. Evil and ignorant men took away things out of the written word that God had originally given though Jesus and rewrote it without many important things that God meant for men to know.

Jesus brought the true law of God

But behold one greater than Moses is here, and He will give you the higher law, even the perfect Law, and this Law will you obey. 25:8

I have come to light The Way back to The Law, even the true Law of Moses 28:3

And He said against Moses “Indeed I do not speak against the law, but against those who corrupted his law, which he permitted because of the hardness of your hearts. 51.17

law-of-moses2 Is this a new law?

And Yeshua said to them, “Behold a new law I give to you, which is not new but old. Even as Moses gave the Ten Commandments to Israel after the flesh , so also I give to you the twelve for the kingdom of Israel after the spirit. 46.7

This is the new law to the Israel of God, and the law is within, for it is the law of love, and it is not new but old. Take heed that you add nothing to this law, neither take anything from it. They who believe and obey this law will be saved, and they who don’t know and obey it will be lost.” 46.24

Results of Keeping the true law of God

This is the work of The Law, that you believe and live The Truth” 30.3

If you keep The Commandments and live in The Way of The Law, you will be happy in this life, and in that which is to come. Do not marvel therefore that I said to you, except you eat of the flesh and drink of the blood of God, you have no life in you.” 32.11

Can blood take away sin?

No blood offering, of beast or bird, or man, can take away sin. For how can the conscience be purged from sin by the shedding of innocent blood? Nay, it will increase the condemnation. 33.2

How is there to be remission of sins, if the shedding of blood can not take away sins?

The priests indeed receive such offerings as a reconciliation of the worshippers for they trespasses against that which they believe to be the Law of Moses; but for sins against the Law of God there can be no remission, save by repentance and amendment. 33.3

Can the Law of God save you?

If you keep The Commandments and live in The Way of The Law, you will be happy in this life, and in that which is to come. Do not marvel therefore that I said to you, except you eat of the flesh and drink of the blood of God, you have no life in you. 32.11

Walk in the spirit, and so will you fulfill the law and be meet for the kingdom. Let the law be within your own hearts rather than on tables of memorial; which things nevertheless you ought to do, and not to leave the other undone, for the Law which I have given to you is Holy, just and good, and blessed are all they who obey and walk therein. 47.8

They who believe and obey this law will be saved, and they who don’t know and obey it will be lost.” 46.24

What if a man does not keep the commandments?

And when they came down from the mount, one of His disciples asked Him, “Master, if a man does not keep all these commandments will he enter into life?” And he said, “The law is good in the letter, but more excellent in the spirit, for the letter without the spirit is dead, but the spirit makes the letter alive.

Take heed that you obey, from the heart, and in the spirit of love, all the commandments which I have given to you. 47.1,2

They who believe and obey this law will be saved, and they who don’t know and don’t obey it will be lost.” 46.24

The Law of God given by Jesus

The following are the laws that I believe that Jesus brought, and were not all included in our bibles:

For who are the Israel of God? Even they of every nation and tribe who work righteousness, love, mercy and keep my commandments, these are the true Israel of God. And standing upon his feet, Yeshua spoke, saying:

Hear O Israel, IOVA, Thy God is One; Many are My seers, and My prophets. In me all live and move, and have subsistence.:

  • You Shall not take away the life of any creature for your pleasure, nor for your profit, nor yet torment it.
  • You Shall not steal the goods of any, nor gather lands and riches to yourselves, beyond your need or use.
  • You shall not eat the flesh, nor drink the blood of any slaughtered creature, not yet anything which brings disorder to your health or senses.
  • You shall not make impure marriages, where love and health are not, nor yet corrupt yourselves, or any creature made pure by the holy.
  • You shall not bear false witness against any, nor willfully deceive any by a lie to hurt them.
  • You shall not do to others, as you would not that others should do to you.
  • You shall worship One eternal, the Father-Mother in heaven, of whom are all things, and reverence the holy name.
  • You shall revere your fathers and your mothers on earth, whose care is for you, and all the teachers of righteousness.
  • You shall cherish and protect the weak, and those who are oppressed, and all creatures that suffer wrong.
  • You shall work with your hands the things that are good and seemly; so will you eat the fruits of the earth, and live long in the land.
  • You will purify yourselves daily and rest the seventh day from labor, keeping holy the Sabbath and the festivals of your God.
  • You shall do to others, as you would that others should do to you. 46.8-21

St. Paul contradicts himself concerning the law

Rom 2:13 For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

St. Paul says those who follow the law are under a curse

Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

In the Old Testament a man could redeem himself and be blessed by the law through obedience

Deu 7:11-13 Thou shalt therefore keep the commandment, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which I command thee this day, to do them.  And it shall come to pass, because ye hearken to these ordinances, and keep and do them, that the Lord thy God will keep with thee the covenant and the lovingkindness which he sware unto thy fathers:  and he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee; he will also bless the fruit of thy body and the fruit of thy ground, thy grain and thy new wine and thine oil, the increase of thy cattle and the young of thy flock, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

St. Paul says no one is justified by their works

Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

The end of the law for righteousness?

Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Rom 9:31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

In the Old Testament men were justified by the works of the law

A righteous man is, by definition, also justified.

The Hebrew word tsadaq is translated both righteous’ and ‘justified.’ There are many examples of men who are called righteous by God.  Noah was called righteous (Genesis 6:9; Ezekiel 14:14, 20).  Abraham was righteous.  David was righteous (2 Samuel 22:21).  Daniel and Job were called righteous (Ezekiel 14:14, 20;  Job 27:6;  29:14).  The Christian’s own bible says that John the Baptist’s parents, Zacharias and Elizabeth, were righteous due to their obedience to Torah (Luke 1:5, 6). *

The book of Revelations says men are justified by their works:

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

So we see that men are justifed or condemned by their works.

Dead to the Law?

Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Gal 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

Paul would have made more sense if he had written that we were married to the law, but because Jesus’ death ended the law (in his opinion, not God’s), then the law was dead and we are then free to marry Jesus. But that isn’t what Paul wrote, nor would it be true if he had written that, because the law is eternal; God’s statutes and laws are to be kept forever (see the laws regarding the sacrifices, feasts etc. in Leviticus; Psalms 119:151, 152, 160; etc.). *

The main reason this symbolism fails is because there is no relationship between Jesus’ life or death and our obligation to keep the law. The woman is no longer bound to the law of marriage after her husband dies, but his death has no bearing on her obligation to obey the rest of the law. Paul’s attempt to use symbolism and allegory to convince us that we are no longer obliged to keep Torah just doesn’t pass the ring of truth test, and I refuse to take his word on faith, when I have God’s word to the contrary. *

That doesn’t mean the law is done away with, it just means that this particular law no longer applies to her. This state occurs often, where some laws do not apply to someone. For instance, a man is not bound to the laws governing a woman’s menstrual cycle, and women are not bound to the laws governing the shaving of a beard while in mourning. For another example, no one but priests are bound to the laws governing the priesthood, and the laws of sacrifice no longer apply without a purified temple in Jerusalem. *

Justified by faith without the deeds of the law?

Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

James, the brother of Jesus, did not agree:

Jas 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Jas 2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

Jesus did not agree either:

Blessed are they who have worked righteousness in this life, for they shall receive the crown of life.” 94.4

For who are the Israel of God? Even they of every nation and tribe who work righteousness, love, mercy and keep my commandments, these are the true Israel of God.

And one said to Him. “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? And Yeshua said, “My kingdom is not of this world, neither are all Israel which are called Israel.

They in every nation who don’t defile themselves with cruelty, who do righteousness, love mercy, and reverence all the works of God, who give succor to all that are weak and oppressed–the same are the Israel of God.
