Jesus Loved Animals

Jesus’ love for the animals

4.5 Thus it came to pass that He was born in the midst of the animals which He came to redeem from their sufferings, through the redemption of man from ignorance and selfishness, by the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God.

6.19 I will make the animals to lie down in safety, and to live without fear.”

6.17 The beasts of the field respected Him; and the birds of the air did not fear Him, for He made them not afraid; even the wild beasts of the desert perceived the power of God in Him, and did Him service bearing Him from place to place.

jesus-cat34.9 And some of the people said, This man careth for all creatures, are they his brothers and sisters that he should love them ? And he said unto them, Verily these are your fellow creatures of the great Household of God, yea, they are your brethren and sisters, having the same breath of life in the Eternal.

34.10 And whosoever careth for one of the least of these, and giveth it to eat and drink in its need, the same doeth it unto me, and whoso willingly suffereth one of these to be in want, and defendeth it not when evilly entreated, suffereth the evil as done unto me; for as ye have done in this life, so shall it be done unto you in the life to come.

Jesus prohibited eating flesh or benefiting from killing animals

7.10 To all he spoke, saying, “Keep yourselves from blood and things strangled and from dead bodies of birds and beasts, and from all deeds of cruelty, and from all that is gotten of wrong; Do you think that the blood of beasts and birds will wash away sin! I tell you no! Speak the Truth. Be just, Be merciful to one another and to all creatures that live, and walk humbly with your God.”

38.2 And Yeshua said to them, “They, whose hands are stained with blood, or whose mouths are defiled with flesh, or they who partake of benefits which are gotten by wronging one of God’s creatures, cannot be righteous; nor can they touch holy things, or teach the mysteries of the kingdom.

38.4 “The robber who breaks into the house made by man is guilty, but they who break into the house made by God, even of the least of these are the greater sinners. Wherefore I say to all who desire to be my disciples, keep your hands from bloodshed and let no flesh meat enter your mouths, for God is just and bountiful, who ordains that man shall live by the fruits and seeds of the earth alone.”

71.4 And He would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel of blood through the temple, or that any animals should be slain. And the disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for thine house has eaten me up.”

33.4 Is it not written in the prophets, “Put your blood sacrifices to your burnt offerings, and away with them, and cease from the eating flesh. I did not speak to your fathers nor commanded them, concerning these things, when I brought them out of Egypt. But this thing I commanded saying,

33.5 “Obey my voice and walk in the ways that I have commanded you, and you will be my people, and it shall be well with you. But they did not listen, nor inclined their ear.”

33.8 “But I say to you, shed no innocent blood nor eat flesh. Walk upright, love mercy, and do justly, and your days shall be long in the land.”

Jesus came to end the blood sacrifices of animals

21.8 He also said, “I have come to end the sacrifices and feasts of blood, and if you don’t cease offering and eating of flesh and blood, the wrath of God will not cease from you, even as it came to your fathers in the wilderness, who lusted for flesh, and ate to their content, and were filled with rottenness, and the plague consumed them.”

28.3 “You believe that Moses indeed commanded such creatures to be slain and offered in sacrifice and eaten, and so do you in the temple, but I have come to light The way back to the law, even the true Law of Moses. I come to put away the bloody sacrifice of the law, and the feasts on them, and to restore to you the pure oblation and unbloody sacrifice as in the beginning, even the grains and fruits of the earth.”

28.4.”Of that which you offer to God in purity will you eat, but of that kind which you offer not in purity will you not eat, for the hour comes when your sacrifices and feasts of blood will cease, and you will worship God with a holy worship and a pure oblation.”

28.5 “Let these creatures therefore go free, that they may rejoice in God and bring no guilt to man.” And the young man let them free, and Yeshua broke their cages and their bonds.

79.9 And they asked Him further saying, “Are you abolishing the sacrifice called for by the law, and the eating of flesh as Moses commanded?” And He answered, “Behold, a greater than Moses is here.”

75.9 “I say to you, for this end have I come into the world, that I may put away all blood offerings and the eating of flesh of the beasts and the birds that are slain by men.”

49.10 The day will come when all those who are in the outer court, and that which pertaineth to blood offerings, will be taken away and pure worshippers will worship the eternal in purity and truth.”

Jesus was a vegitarian

38.3 “God gives the grains and the fruits of the earth for food; and for righteous man truly there is no other lawful sustenance for the body.”

38.4 “…God is just and bountiful, who ordains that man shall live by the fruits and seeds of the earth alone.”

33.6 “And what doth the eternal command you, but to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with your God? Is it not written that in the beginning God ordained the fruits of the trees and the seeds and the herbs to be food for all flesh?”

75.10 “In the beginning, God gave to all, the fruits of the trees, and the seeds, and the herbs, for food; but those who loved themselves more than God, or their fellows, corrupted their ways, and brought diseases into their bodies, and filled the earth with lust and violence.”

51.16 “But you did not listen to me, who in the beginning gave you all sorts of seed, and fruit of the trees and seed having been for the food and healing of man and beast. And they said, You speak against the law.”

51.17 And He said against Moses “Indeed I do not speak against the law, but against those who corrupted his law, which he permitted because of the hardness of your hearts.

Eating of meat is bad for your physical and spiritual health

87.11 “For they, making a god of their bellysacrificed to their God the innocent creatures of the earth, in place of the carnal nature within themselves.”

87.12 “And eating of their flesh and drinking of their blood to their own destruction, corrupted their bodies and shortened their days, even as the Gentiles who did not know the truth, or who knowing it, have changed it into a lie.”

75.11 “Not by shedding innocent blood, therefore, but by living a righteous life, shall you find the peace of God. You call me the Messiah of God and you say well, for I am the way, the truth and the life.”

75.12 “Walk in the way, and you shall find God. Seek you the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Live in the life, and you shall see no death. All things are alive in God, and the spirit of God fills all things.”

What happens if the sacrifice is ended?

49.5 And some of the scribes, hearing Him, sought to entangle Him in His talk and said, “If you end to the sacrifices of sheep and oxen and birds, what is the purpose of this temple built for God by Solomon, which has been now been in restoration for the last forty six years?”

49.6 And Yeshua answered and said, “It is written in the prophets, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations, for the sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving.’ But you have made it a house of slaughter and filled it with abominations.”

Blood of sacrificed animals can not take away sins

33.1 Yeshua was teaching His disciples in the outer court of the temple and one of them said to Him, “Master, it is said by the priests that without shedding of blood there is no remission. Can then the blood offerings of the laws take away sin?”
33.2 And Yeshua answered, “No blood offering, of beast or bird, or man, can take away sin. For how can the conscience be purged from sin by the shedding of innocent blood? Nay, it will increase the condemnation.”

God hates animal sacrifices

49.7 “Again it is written, ‘From the rising of the sun to the setting of the sun, my name will be great among the Gentiles, and incense with a pure offering will be offered to me.’ But you have made it a desolation with your offerings of blood and used the sweet incense only to cover the ill savor thereof. I have come not to destroy the law, but to fulfill it.”

49.8 “Don’t you know what is written? Obedience is better than sacrifice and to attend what is being said is better than the fat of rams. I, the Lord, am weary of your burnt offerings, and vain oblation, your hands are full of blood.”

49.9 “Aren’t the true sacrifices specified in the writings? Wash and purify yourself! Take away the evil from before my eyes! Cease to do evil! Learn to do good! Do justice for the fatherless and the widows, and all those who are oppressed! In so doing you will fulfill the law.”

33.7 “But they have made the house of prayer a den of thieves, and for the oblation with incense, they have polluted my altars with blood, and eaten of the flesh of the slain.”

Didn’t God command the eating of animals?

51.12 And certain of the elders and scribes from the temple came to him saying, “Why do your disciples teach men that it is unlawful to eat the flesh of beasts though beasts are offered in sacrifice as Moses ordained.”

51.13 For it is written, “God said to Noah, ‘The fear and the dread of you will be upon every beast of the field, and every bird of the air, and every fish of the sea, into your hand they are delivered.”

51.14 And Yeshua said to them, “You hypocrites. Esaias spoke so well of you, and your forefathers, reporting, ‘This people comes close to me, with their mouths, and honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; for in vain do they worship me, teaching and believing, and teaching for divine doctrines, the commandments of men in my name, only to satisfy their own lusts.

51.15 As also Jeremiah bore witness when he said, concerning blood offerings and sacrifices, “I the Lord God commanded none of these things on the day that you came out of Egypt, but only this I commanded you to do, righteousness, walk in the ancient paths, do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with thy God.”

Jesus drives out those who sell animals for sacrfice in the temple

82.19 The usurers and the dealers in beasts and birds also cast the life things into his teeth, saying, “You who drove the traders in oxen and sheep and doves from the temple, are yourself but a sheep that is sacrificed.”

Jesus appears in the temple and blood sacrifices cease after his death

86.1 The same day, at the time of sacrifice in the temple, there appeared among the dealers in beasts and in birds, One clothed in white raiment, bright as light, and in His hand a whip of seven cords.

86.2 And at the sight of Him, those who sold and bought fled in terror, and some of them fell as dead men, for they remembered how before His death Yeshua had driven them away from the temple enclosure, in like manner.

86.3 And some declared that they had seen a spirit. And others that they had seen Him who was crucified and that He had risen from the dead.

86.4 And the sacrifices ceased that day in the temple, for all were in fear, and none were willing to sell or to buy, but, rather, they let their captives go free.

86.5 And the priests and elders caused a report to be spread, that they who had seen it were drunken, and had seen nothing. But many affirmed that they had seen Him with their own eyes, and felt the scourge on their backs, but were powerless to resist; for when some of the bolder among them put forth their hands, they could not seize the form which they beheld, nor grasp the whip which chastised them.

86.6 And from that time, these believed in Yeshua, that He was sent from God, to deliver the oppressed and free those that were bound. And they turned from their ways and sinned no longer.

Jesus gave his body as a sacrifice to end the blood sacrifices of animals

87.9 “I have given my body and my blood to be offered on the cross for the redemption of the world from the sin against love, and from the bloody sacrifices and feasts of the past.”

87.10 And you will offer the bread of life, and the wine of salvation, for a pure Oblation with incense, as it is written of me, and you shall eat and drink thereof, for a memorial, that I have delivered all who believe in me from the ancient bondage of your ancestors.”
